The Women's Studies Department of Simon FraserUniversity is hosting a Summer Institutewith Vandana Shiva on Women, Life and Planet.It will take place June 16-19, 1998 from 9:00-1:00 p.m. daily at the SFUHarbour Centre Campus (downtown Vancouver). It will be a lecture/seminarformat with Dr. Shiva taking a different seminar group each day so all participantsget an opportunity to interact with her. The cost is $200 (Canadian). Theinstitue will deal with topics concerning globalization, eco-feminism andbio-diversity. The Institute is limited to 55 participants.
