Denton, Texas is the north side of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is approximately twenty-eight miles from Denton. For transportation to and from the airport, reservations should be made in advance by calling Denton Airport Shuttle at 940/565-9936 or 800/634-6231, A A Cab Company at 940/383-4155, Affordable Limo Shuttle at 940/591-1152, or Denton City Taxi Service at 940/898-8294.

The University of North Texas is located to the southeast of the intersection of I-35, I-35E, and I-35W. To reach the university or the hotels, use the Avenue D exit on I-35E.

Accommodations are available at the Radisson Hotel, 940/565-8499 ($70, double or single), and at the Royal Hotel Suites, 940/383-2007 ($35, single; $44, double; $55, suite). Both are within walking distance of the campus. The Radisson Hotel is located on the northwest side of the intersection of I-35E and Avenue D. The Royal Hotel Suites is located to the southeast of the intersection.
