Ecotheology Book List

Complied by John B. Cobb, Jr. for the revised edition of Is It Too Late? A Theology of Ecology.

This bibliography of English-language material is based largely on selections from half a dozen other bibliographies supplemented by some independent research. It is fairly thorough through 1991, progressively less so for the years thereafter. I have not listed individual essays which are contained in books included in the bibliography, in special issues of journals listed at the end, or in the magazines, also listed at the end, which have large numbers of relevant pieces. By far the most detailed bibliography in this field is that by Joseph Sheldon, listed below. --John B. Cobb, Jr.
