| The seventh annual meeting, intended to bring together the environmental philosophy community, will take place from June 8 to June 11, 2009 on the border of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The meeting is hosted by the International Association for Environmental Philosophy and the International Society for Environmental Ethics and sponsored by the Center for Environmental Philosophy. The meeting will be held at 8500 feet in Allenspark, Colorado at the Highlands Center, a recently constructed retreat center which includes rooms, meeting space, and a cafeteria. Longs Peak (elevation 14,000 feet) hovers above the conference center and is within close hiking distance. We have reserved 24 rooms, each of which comfortably houses one to three guests.
