Future Trends in Environmental Philosophy 2008
Allenspark, Colorado

Sponsored by the Center for Environmental Philosophy, University of North Texas

The fifth annual meeting intended to bring together the environmental philosophy community will take place from May 27 to May 30, 2008 on the border of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The meeting is hosted by the International Association for Environmental Philosophy and the International Society for Environmental Ethics and sponsored by the Center for Environmental Philosophy. The meeting will be held at 8500 feet in Allenspark, Colorado at the Highlands Center, a recently constructed retreat center which includes rooms, meeting space, and a cafeteria. Longs Peak (elevation 14,000 feet) hovers above the conference center and is within close hiking distance. We have reserved 24 rooms, each of which comfortably houses one to three guests. In addition, camping facilities are available nearby at Rocky Mountain National Park. For more information, contact Bob Frodeman (IAEP) or Clare Palmer (ISEE). For any questions or problems with registration, contact Cara Cobos at ccobos@unt.edu or 940-565-2134.

Because the conference rooms are almost full,
if you wish to register, you must contact Cara Cobos at 940-565-2134 or
ccobos@unt.edu to see if there is still space available to meet your needs.
